The view from Crescent Street in Montreal.
I was at Mont Royal cemetery in Montreal to visit my grandparents‘ graves and decided to take a small side trip to see Leonard Cohen‘s final resting place.
I had the great fortune to see him live in concert twice. The performances were unforgettable.
One of my bookish friends (Miss Bates Reads Romance, if anyone knows her blog) took me on the Leonard Cohen tour while I was there, so I saw it more close up as well. But it's pretty cool, albeit small, from the mountain. 8mo
Weirdly, I actually kind of enjoyed the humidity. I lived in Manhattan when I was young and I felt at home. My poor daughter was so miserable though! She's never lived anywhere but a mild climate.
