Starting this one tonight. I have no idea how it ended up on my TBR but it sounds intriguing and that cover! 🤩

Thanks for the tags, @Addison_Reads and @sblbooks ! I wanted to use all books I already own for #myidealbookclub and here‘s what I picked. Half fiction, half nonfiction, and a couple of lighter picks to balance out the heavy topics and the chunkster.
What books would you choose for your book club?
It is hard to put into exact words the magic that this book is, and what it says so beautifully about the oftentimes bleak world we live in today, and what is to come. But I will say: it is the best book I've read this year, imo.
This book was absurdity at its best! To enjoy this ride, you need to get out of your comfort zone and suspend belief as you enter the convoluted world of legalized narcotics and filtered extinct animals, where unicorns are real, and exotic dodo birds are fried and consumed at dinners! 😱
Thank you #Netgalley & #FSGbooks for a free eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine.

March was a bit of a dead zone for me, readingwise. I‘m halfway through several things I‘m enjoying but stalled out on for some reason. Hopefully I finish in April and get out of this slump.
This last weekend was a flurry of reading activity, however, as I‘m going to another dinner tonight with the authors of these upcoming novels! I read Stay and Fight and The Electric Hotel this weekend and am halfway through the tagged book.
