pickInstead of doing all the things I needed to do I read this book yesterday and I have no regrets. More world-building, some new characters that tie the previous two books to this one and likely foreshadow what‘s to come in the series. And we‘re up to literal world changing kissing between Ryder and Kai.
Rhys Ford has said this is planned to be a 10 to 12 book series and has made it clear it‘s an urban fantasy before anything else - and that it‘s not decided whether Kai and Ryder will have #wildelvishsex (or even #elvishcuddling) on the page. It might be a #slowburn forever.
I‘m reading this now and am about 25% in and crying because elves live longer than humans. Yes, a human is dying. Not gonna day who.
Early on in the book there‘s a #teamnoketchup moment - the author is not a fan of ketchup on eggs and it makes it into the book! It‘s made all the better because I know this from following them on social media.
I‘m so excited for this book to come out! I just re-read the first two so I‘d be ready. I have thoughts about one of the character‘s family but Ford is never going to outright say in a book so I‘m hoping there are more clues and maybe if enough of us ask we‘ll find out in the FB group. Ahhhhh!!!
