pickI‘ve had All The Birds In The Sky sitting on my bookshelf for years, waiting to be read - but of course this ends up being my first CJA. A delightful short read, follows Marisol, who survived the apocalypse accidentally (she was cleaning a rich guys house at the time and found the panic room) as she ventures outside after many years to find herself all alone… in a devastated world with a genie lamp. Her approach to setting things right is unique.
so-soWhat would you wish for if you were the last person on earth? This is a short story that follows a young girl who is the only person left alive on earth. After she finds a genie in the bottle, she gets three wishes to try to make it right. While I wouldn‘t say this is a must read, if you have 30 minutes it‘s a cute one to pick up. #owls #magicalreadathon

This episode of #LevarBurtonReads was recorded in front of an audience with live music, which really enhanced my experience of this story. Definitely adding Anders‘ short fiction collection to my Want To Read list ASAP!
