This was such an enjoyable read. It‘s a sequel to The Library at the Edge of the World, and I think I liked it even better than the first book. Our heroine is in her fifties, and I loved that aspect. Not a mystery per se, more a family saga focusing on the women. There are other threads, some predictable, some not as much, all lovely.

Another book read for #bookspinbingo, which I‘ve absolutely LOVED. Getting my October list ready now!

This is the second book in the Finfarrin series, and I enjoyed learning more about Hanna, Jazz, and the other characters. I'm looking forward to the conclusion of the #seriesread which looks like a fun Christmas book. Finfarrin is a fictional place but may be based on the Dingle peninsula where the author has a home. In any case, it's (relatively) far from Dublin #wherethestreetshavenoname except that it's right there on the wall. #wanderingjune

Not quite as good as the first, but worth the time reading it. We learn more about Hanna's aunt Maggie, who left her the house and land
More of the characters are developed in this book, her daughter Jazz, Conor, her library aide and her mom and mom in law, Brian, all figure more prominently. The psalter is now on view at the library. What I wouldn't do to see a medieval manuscript decorated by the monks. It has to be amazing.

Just finished the first book (The Library at the Edge of the World) —which was light and enjoyable— so I‘m now #CurrentlyListening to the sequel.

Somewhere between a pick and a so-so, really. This was a LibraryThing Early Reviewer Book, otherwise I might have bailed. The last third saved it. Good characters, but too many of them, so there were plot threads tangled everywhere. It clearly sets up for a sequel, which I‘d probably read, but wouldn‘t go out of my way to chase it down. Plus, the title has very little to do with the story, which annoyed me.

A blustery, rainy afternoon. Now that the lightning has abated, there shouldn‘t be anything to interrupt my reading time.

A nice find in the mail when we got home from vacation was this LibraryThing early reviewer book that I‘m looking forward to reading. The description of the setting in the first couple pages had me ready to book a ticket to Ireland😄
