⭐️⭐️⭐️
I initially enjoyed this book of poetry a good bit, however it got very repetitive and preachy after a while. Some of the “poems” ended up just being simple statements that I would find on Twitter or Tumblr. There‘s also a good bit of self-help ramblings throughout that was also very repetitive that I just couldn‘t connect with either.
"letting go
doesn't mean forgetting;
it means we stop carrying
the energy of the past
into the present"
"the world itself is currently shifting from being ruled by the fear of ego to being liberated by the love of consciousness; what we face internally is a microcosm of what humanity faces globally--this is why growing our self-love is a medicine for our earth."
"the mind is full of shadows, but shadows cannot withstand the patience and perseverance of light - our minds can become like stars, powerful united fields of pure light. but unlike a star, the healed mind will dwell in awareness and wisdom."
I personally did not connect with this book of poetry. To me, it felt like a hybrid of a self-help book and a stream of consciousness brain dump.
