Pickpick

I was not as excited about this book as I was all the others in this series, but Ashley draws me in and I remember why I love her books. This wasn‘t my favorite in the series, Tack ❤️, but Hound and Keely were so good together. I loved how they interacted even though I was anxious the whole book about how Chaos would react to them. I love how Hound was such a secret amazing person, so different than the man we saw in previous books.

Not great. Predictable, slow, tired really. There‘s another one in this series but I may not bother.

As a rule I like Kristen Ashley‘s books but this one was definitely not one of her better stories. Too much of the heroine taking about herself in the 3rd person (eye roll). No real character development that made me like either of the main characters—skimmed/skipped many pages because I was simply bored with the story. A good portion of the story could have been edited out to make it better. It has a hard call between bad & so-so.

This was good but it‘s still missing the classic Kristen Ashley angst or should I say it‘s missing her personal touch. Don‘t get me wrong I enjoyed this story but it‘s still missing something just like all her other releases for the last tao years.

I am excited to get the last book and see how this series end.
