Just me and my puppy is such a cute story they shoes kids what goes into taking care of a dog, I would tend to lean to that being the main idea, the words say he‘s doing really good things but the images are showing something else. I would use this as story telling and have the students tell the story and use images that depict the same idea from the images in the book. The ESOL strategy I would use is 6 to make sure students are understanding
