I can‘t even express how much I ❤️ Siri Hustvedt‘s writing. I don‘t read her books often (I hoard them for ‘special‘ reading... anyone else do this, or am I a weirdo?) but when I get into them, I‘m always enlightened. I ❤️ how ideas & philosophy are interwoven in the dialogue and for me, these always seem to be right time, right place. Some might find this (& the name drops) a little pretentious, but I feel like it‘s just expanding my TBR list. ⬇️

I tried another Hustvedt because I loved her What I Loved. However, this one couldn't live up to my expectations.
