We read this book in my at work book club this month. I wasn't familiar with the author at all before reading his story, which takes him from Texas to Yale, Berlin, Washington, D.C. and back to Texas. I always enjoy reading about people's lives. I'm counting this as Something from Another Point of View because, to me, someone else's life story always offers another point of view. #Nonfiction2018 @Riveted_Reader_Melissa
I got in my #SixonStPatricks thanks to these two books and an audiobook. Fun, easy Sunday. I feel like saying #LuckyYou to myself. #literaryluck
HOLY CATS SO MANY NEW BOOKS. This is a small sampling of today‘s new books. It‘s a HUGE new release day. Which ones are you excited to read? 📚❤️📚
I expected this to be more about cult-like religions than football, but ultimately there isn't a better way to describe the hardcore football culture in the South. A beautiful story of a man that does everything that is expected from him, achieves the traditional American dream, and then realizes he's been running in the opposite direction of happiness for thirty years.
