These verses are deceptively simple. You can read and parse them fairly quickly, but they settle in you and many lines will reverberate in your head and unfold more deeply over time. #AwesomeApril #Roll100 @Andrew65 @PuddleJumper
#EasterOMC 14 - find books that start with EASTER. (My shelves have E way overrepresented and R way underrepresented 🤷🏻♀️) @Clwojick @LadyKatrina
For next month‘s #Roll100 I‘ll definitely be reading Millay since it‘s poetry month. 33 was The Age of Innocence which I just finished with #WhartonBuddyRead and I haven‘t been substituting new titles for ones I‘ve finished on the list so I‘ll try to read 34 instead, but I‘ll wait and see if I have time for either Brody or Heidegger. @PuddleJumper
National Poetry Month: Day 28! 📖❤
I think this is the first Millay poem I've highlighted this month! I really love her poems, and she led such an interesting life! If you ever get the chance to read her biography, you should do so because it's utterly fascinating!

An excellent love poem! I so enjoy Millay's poetry.

Afternoon On A Hill by Edna St. Vincent Millay.

This sonnet is from Wine from These Grapes, published in 1934. I have this book and it‘s the oldest in my collection. The mystery is I have no idea how I came to own this poetry book, but I‘ve moved it to at least three houses. #poem #bloomingbibliophiles
This seems like an appropriate farewell poem choice after experiencing a break up last night. Loooking forward to discovering new poetry with this month‘s prompts😊. #poetrymatters
#QuotsyJune18 Day 21: It is #Summer the whole year round in Singapore, where my family and I lived for the past ten years now. I am a tropical girl through and through (born and raised in the Philippines). This photo was taken on top of the NTU Art Design and Media, one of our famous heart-shaped buildings. And yes, I live and breathe green the whole year round.
