⭐ I loved The Circle, but this just didn't resonate with me at all. I struggled to even finish it. 🤷

This was a fast-paced thriller that makes you reach for the sequel right away. Rachelle is a girl born blind in a the secluded town of Eden, Utah. She goes into a coma after the operation to restore her sight, but awakes in a new world and finds a new identity and is tasked to save both the world she awoke in and Eden. But, of course, the powers of darkness are out to stop her.
Ted Dekker is a great story teller. This is no exception.
"I'm walking through a field of yellow daises, wanting to love the way they sway in a gentle breeze, wanting to enjoy the scents of fresh earth and natural grasses, the bright blue sky, the sound of chirping birds in the trees just ahead of me."

Good morning! Reading my first Dekker book. Coffee is amazing. That is all 😉
Woot! 🎉 I finished this before the end of the day! I enjoyed this visit back to “Other Earth” and Dekker‘s exploration of theology. Rise of the Mystics is next! #Audible #audiobook
Dekker does it again! This was a fabulous, amazing, tear jerking, thought provoking, faith building book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💖
Beautiful and so wonderfully rendered, Dekker delivers an insight into God unlike anything I‘ve ever seen in fiction.
Just a handful of our newest fiction releases! (See what we did there? 😉) Which spine catches your eye? #newreleases #bookbirthday #christianfiction
At Barnes with a free Chai, courtesy of my sister, a spinach feta pretzel, and a couple books I may have to buy....
(Don‘t worry.. I first spent all my money at the local independent bookstore this morning... pictures to come later!)
This was theologically amazing. I had some issues with the writing, but Dekker always has a great story to tell. Full review can be found here: http://www.celestialmusings.org/?p=569
