pickI thought this was just as good as the first. It has exciting art drawn with a riot of color contrasting with true deep blacks. The art and the writing are both very experiential, but even though I wasn‘t hyper focused on every detail of the plot line, I never felt lost in the story. #bookspinbingo @TheAromaofBooks

Not fully sure what I read but man I had one hell of a blast going along. We see what happens when Jae meets Addison and Lexa. Here we learn the reason for the spill, what powers Jae and Addison have, and who Vespertine really is. Super fast paced and an interesting connection to the current situation in North Korea. Plus, there's kind of LGBTQIA+ rep (it's hard to explain but I'm pretty sure it's there lol).

I think I am seriously about to melt. It‘s 96 degrees and so humid, any type of movement require way too much effort. So reading is my plan and I found this second in the series today while at the library with my boys. I hope you all are having better weather than we are experiencing. #graphicnovel
I really like these books by Scott Westerfeld and the colors for the artwork are amazing. 🎨😍 This is the second book in this series and I really hope there will be more.
