The free book table at the college where I work is mostly filled with old dental assisting textbooks at the moment (not for me 😆), but I did find these two gems today! #bookhaul 📚

These stories were great. I don‘t think there was a single one I didn‘t enjoy in some way. Some were bleak but written so beautifully. Many will stay with me, which is what I consider a great story. These women are awesome!
I loved the little bio on each of them before their story! Some stories were lost until their death, one accused of plagiarism, some had other stories overshadow these. Others just forgotten to time. Loved this!

The short stories in this book, I thought I‘d share. I‘m at The Storm by Kate Chopin, and so far I‘ve loved them all! Many of these I‘ve never heard of and so surprised because they are great! There is also a page before each story with a short bio of the author and their work.

Also I have no stickers! ☹️

I started the morning with a different book but I just kept saying “I know this was written by a man.” 🙄 So I picked this up because I need some awesome women authors this Monday morning!
