Wars of the Roses | 
I thought this was kinda funny . . . I enjoyed The Demon‘s Brood, so I got online to find the book by the same author on the War of the Roses. It got here today. Lo and behold, it has the same 1910 Henry Payne painting that The Demon‘s Brood had. Different cover designers, however. I guess this is THE go-to painting to depict the era. 🤣
