Once again, I got all judgey about the cover and the title of my Romance Book Club assignment.

I didn't think I would like it...

I loved it and want to read the other 2 books in the series 😀

A paralyzed man asks his best friend to knock up his wife. The wife and best friend fall in love, aaaand the husband actually has a secret family. DRAMA!

I loved every second ❤️

I'm still reading along with the Fated Mates podcast (though I am behind) anyone else following along? As a relatively new reader in the genre their 'Books that Blooded Me' season has been a fun ride.

I enjoyed this one. It's not the fun banter type of historical I usually go for, but Heath throws a lot of interesting things in the mix and navigates them all well. The HEA is earned and it works.

This was an uncomfortable one for me to read. I'm ok with the moral ambiguity of adulterous affairs in historicals when there's no love lost between the married pair, but felt conflicted about Jayne loving her husband and falling for Ainsley. It's well written and worth the unease tho.
