Cross Justice
Cross Justice: (Alex Cross 23) | James Patterson
ALEX CROSS IS GOING HOME. BUT WHAT WILL HE FIND WHEN HE GETS THERE? When his cousin is accused of an unthinkable crime, Alex Cross returns to his North Carolina hometown for the first time in over three decades. As he tries to prove his cousins innocence in a town where justice is hard to find, Cross unearths a family secret that forces him to question everything hes ever known. Chasing a ghost he believed was long dead, Cross gets pulled into a case involving a string of murders. Now he's hot on the trail of both a cold-hearted killer and the truth about his own past and the answers he finds could be fatal.

Wow! Some expected incidents, some big twists. Alex heads to his family‘s hometown to investigate the charges against his cousin Stephen. Alex and his family are attacked physically and with planted evidence to destroy dreams.

A court case is going on at the moment for murder and Crosses Wife is on the witness stand at the moment. I think the court case is going to still be going on.

The writing style is an Audiobook but makes some suspense thru-out the book. The point of view is a 2ed person and 1st person point of view. Yes, I do like this writing style because I am an auditory learner/learner.

I dislike how many chapters there are in the book but it is fine at the same time.

I have read chapters 1-7. Alex Cross is going home and we were introduced to his Mom and his Aunt. I do not know what is going to happen next but I have to think he is going to be arrested because at the end of chapter 7 someone said a freeze.

Patterson's best Alex Cross novel! I was bored through the first 60-ish% of it, but I'm so incredibly glad I stuck it out. I had no idea about the gigantic plot twist at the end!!!!

1. I think so? New Mexico is desert, right?
2. Ha. No. I have one plant I've kept alive for just over a year and that's only because my husband remembers to water it.
3. Tagged book! We are road tripping today, so I'm doing more podcasting than reading, but when I stop driving for the day I'll catch up!

Chelleo Ohhh, nice. Who was the narrator? How did you like the audiobook format? (edited) 7y
RonniD @Chelleo thought I answered you! I haven't finished it yet, but it's good. I only get to listen when I'm walking or cleaning 7y

I had a successful first day of Spring Break while the girls were at the farm. In addition to designing the #LesMisLovesCompany bookmark, I painted my nightstand and I'm pretty much in love with it. I'm going to sleep happy tonight.

I started listening to Cross Justice for #ArmchairAudies while I was putting everything back together. Tomorrow I'll continue listening while I paint a short bookshelf for the corner. I want to paint all the things.

LeahBergen It looks great! 8y

Clare-Dragonfly I love the nightstand! Nicely done, and the color goes so well with the rest of your decor without being matchy. 8y
LitHousewife @Bklover No worries about catching up. Enjoy the reading. 🙂 8y
LitHousewife @Clare-Dragonfly That's what I was going for. Thank goodness for Benjamin Moore's coordinating colors suggestions. I couldn't have done that on my own. 8y

Mehso-so

I love James Patterson as a quick, entertaining read. His books are usually one or two day reads. Alex Cross is one literary character I always enjoy. This one was so-so, not his best, but still good enough that I'd say it's worth the read.

Just took a couple days to race through this one to cleanse my palate from the other two books I mentioned earlier. #alexcross #jamespatterson #pageturner
