Enjoyed listening to Chrissy Metz‘ life story. She has such a wonderful spirit and is someone I could see myself being friends with.

This humerus yet honest and vulnerable peek into Chrissy Metz‘s life and journey to the TV show This Is Us. She is upfront about her experiences as a plus sized woman growing up and in show biz. She shares both her struggles and triumphs both personally and professionally. While her childhood and upbringing were rough, it gives us insight into our own perseverance and a sense of self.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⚡️I am not all caught up on This Is Us, because it is emotionally exhausting so I have to watch just one episode every so often - but I do think it's a fantastic show! This memoir/autobiography/self-help book was a light, insightful read. As always with autobiographies, I recommend listening to the audiobook (I borrow them digitally from the library).
I absolutely loved listening to this book read by Chrissy Metz herself ☺️ What a beautiful, thoughtful, smart, insightful and inspiring woman!
I didn‘t love this. All her talk about what the universe is going to do for us, hooking up with various guys and repetitive self-help advice aren‘t really what I was looking for with this. I still love This Is Us though ❤️

Being honest with yourself is the priority--you cant control how another person will react.
You cant worry about the next because youre in one this moment. Its the same thing in our lives...just see where it takes you.

There arent many times where you actually sit in that good space of being excited about where youve come from abd what youve accomplished...its always the next thing and the next thing.
[So true!]
...thats because you cant give from an empty well. When you dont realize how full your life is, you cant give to others. And when you cannot give to others, you will not be able to receive.
...remember your soul is what matters. Your body is a vessel for your soul, and what surrounds that vessel...is nowhere as important as what is inside you.
You have to be the one that decides what it is tou want to give. It isnt always about money. Its your energy, its your time, and its your love.
I didnt know how to love myself. It was only once I stopped looking for outside validation, and looked inward instead, that I realized I had all I need to fly.
Loved it! Who knew she is so inspirational! I loved all her insights and her struggle. I look forward to another book from her in the future.
A perfect Saturday night
