I've always admired Rutger Hauer. I still didn't expect to be this saddened by his death.

I know most people remember him as Roy in Blade Runner, but for this fantasy reader he will always be Navarre 😢

JazzFeathers @TrishB l watched Blade Runner only once decades ago. Maybe l should give it another go. They said yesterday on tv that Hauer's final monologue was so intence that the entire crew was tearing up by the end. 5y

TrishB Absolutely. The quote I used is from that scene, it‘s one of the best film scenes ever and apparently he ad-libbed some of it. 😥 5y
