I'll admit I loved the experimentation with poetry shown in Love that Dog/Hate That Cat books, it added something extra to the story that is missing from this more straightforward narrative (which does have a few entries that feel more like poems, and still features fun with font and formatting).1/?

The formatting: it makes me happy. ☺️

I really liked this book, I loved the characters and the plot. It was also written really nicely too. It‘s definitely a quick read.
It was also super cute, I loved the cow a lot. My favorite part was probably the fair with zora when she got loose.

Walk Two Moons is one of my favorite books of all time, so I always enjoy Sharon Creech‘s writing. This is a cute little story about unlikely friendship with a cranky cow and neighbor.

I‘m not a fan of poetry. I liked this book okay though. If it would have been any longer, I may not have been able to finish. It was a cute story and the methods that she used made it fun to read. So I did finish. But it was hard. If you‘re looking for an easy read, this is it. I read the whole thing in about an hour.

This book was a 4/5 for me. It was a good book and I do recommend this book for a good fast read. The part that I didn‘t really like was when some parts in the book took to long to explain and other times it was too short.

Review: Moo by Sharon Creech, 2016, is a realistic fiction chapter book about a families move from the city to Maine, and the surprising relationship between a girl and a cow.
Blurb: The word placement in the book helps tell the story in a visual way and adds to the quality of the book. Any student that has/will experience a move could relate to this story a lot.

I definitely think this novel is meant for older children but it‘s a great read! I thoroughly enjoyed how Creech wrote the novel, it was unique... like nothing I had ever seen before. It also tells a great story of how kindness goes a long way.

Moo by Sharon Creech published in 2016 is a good representation of a contemporary fiction novel. Moo tells the story of a city family moving to Maine. Brother and sister, Reena and Luke work for a neighbor who owns a farm with some interesting animals to say the least.

I found this book really exciting and funny because the authors grandkids are in the 4-H beef program and so am I! I loved reading the protagonists perspective on showing cows. I would recommend this book to anyone of all ages to read this engaging story.

This book centralized on the theme of displaced children and can be relatable to a lot of middle schoolers who would benefit most from this book.

I love Sharon Creech! This is an uplifting story that reminds us that if we‘re open to new experiences, life can be full of surprises. This is a really heartwarming book that is told in poetry and prose and shows the bonds we can make if we let people into our lives.

Chapter book written like poem verses. Teaches an important lesson of being open to new experiences and can relate to children who move to a new place.

2016, contemporary literature. 12 year old girl Reena and her little brother like move to Maine. Their parents volunteer them to help a neighbor who has a pig, cat, snake, and cow. They are sure what to expect but this novel relates to new experiences.

Contemporary realistic fiction. There is no doubt that this is a wonderful story for anyone to read and I definitely want to continue reading it. It‘s fun and placement of words on the page make it so dynamic and interesting. I think anyone would enjoy reading this book.

Moo by Sharon Creech, 2016. This is a wonderful example of realistic fiction with a twist. It‘s a novel told entirely in fun poetry and verse. It‘s not just a novel, it‘s a novel with heart and fun and it makes you feel using the different sizes and types of font and the fun arrangements of words on the page.

I really like when books use different fonts throughout the story. For example in this picture the child can kind of tell what it sounded like just how the words look

This book shows that a little kindness can change lives and it reminds us that if we‘re open to new experiences, life offers surprises. The family moves and the parents sign the kids up to help the neighbor Mrs. Falala!

Two feisty kids move to the Maine countryside. An enthusiastic and inventively written book about moving to a new place, meeting new people, and learning new things. Fresh and fun. This came highly recommended by a 4th grader.

A blend of poetry and prose-nice.

I love the variety of Sharon Creech's books and have been looking forward to this one. It was interesting to see how showing livestock, something incredibly common in my rural community, was presented in this story. I don't know that the page included was meant to be funny, but this farm girl was very amused.

Moo is a tale about an ornery cow. Not really . It's more about how we perceive people, how we treat those we do not know much about. It is a story of growth, love, kindness, and more.

The book was fine but the way the words were written was cool and weird all at the same time.

My #LitsyPartyofOne this morning and at work later. I will be finished this by the end of the day. Let's see how many books I can read for this party! I am thinking three, possibly four.

My ❤️ will always belong to "Walk Two Moons" but this middle grade novel is lovely and the form is fun and it's about Maine so ??????
