Pickpick

This is exactly the kind of mystery I like: interesting characters, complications aplenty, and solid guess-along potential. I'm pleased to say I figured it all out.

It's also full of lesbians and bi women! Hart weaves the type of narrative I expect from contemporary queer presses, not mainstream crime pubs from 1992. And there're 24 more books in the series!

TW under a spoiler tag the in the comments, since it impacts the resolution. #queerbooks

xicanti TW for incest and child sex abuse. 7y
MCYmermaid I heart Ellen — even though I sadly believe Hart (my birth name) is only her writing name. 💜💙💗 7y
