This one had a slow start, and the writing was definitely a few steps down from the book I listened to just before this one (so it took some time to adjust to completely different writing in both style and quality). The story was disjointed in places, and that wasn‘t cleared up until at least half way through the book, so it just felt like there were these random fragments of other stories in random places.
👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

GingerAntics The audiobook was literally just pulled from the original 2004 CD audiobook, so there are random “end of disk 4... disk 5” announcements in the middle of sentences. It would have taken less than an hour to edit those out and make this a proper digital audiobook. It just felt rushed and haphazard, almost as if no one cared to make a decent product. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 2w
GingerAntics The case was compelling and there were a ton of revelations. There were a lot of twists and turns along the way. The killer, at the end, was shocking. This one had a lot of death and a lot of blood if that kind of thing bothers you. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 2w
GingerAntics I think the thing that annoys me the most is that 3 of the first 4 books all have naked women on them, even though that‘s not part of the case at all. I‘m trying to figure out what dirty old man designed these book covers and why no one thought to stop him. #TessGerritsen #BodyDouble #RizzoliAndIsles #MauraIsles #JaneRizzoli #audiobook 2w

Repost for @PuddleJumper

My partner is away this weekend and I've got stuff to do. My ADHD brain doesn't want to do them so #BodyDoubleReadathon

I'm going to put on an audiobook, imagine everyone reading in the room with me and get on with my chores

PuddleJumper Thanks for sharing! 6mo

Great on audio. Anne Heche narrated and she did a fantastic job.

The book series for Rizzoli & Isles has quite a few differences when compared to the TV show but I‘m still enjoying them.

This one really departs from the show. Like majorly departs from it. This is a good thing. It helps to nuance an differentiate the story from that of the show.

It appears that I have a pattern lol🤷🏻‍♀️Even if I already have 8 open books (4 of which I‘m actively reading) I NEED to start a new one if I finish one. Funny how I never really noticed this before today🤨🤣

This series continues to be high quality, and great to see some strong female characterisation in this book and series. Interesting plot line with a plot very different to anything else I have read. Although don‘t read this series if you don‘t like gritty, or writing up of autopsies. I look forward to continuing this excellent series. Hopefully will not leave if for 3 1/2 years before reading this one. Good twist at the end.

Crazeedi I've heard of this author but I dont think I've read her 6y

One of my favorite books! While part of the Rizzoli and Isles series, it is a great stand alone book.
Features a page turning serial killer storyline. That's all I'll say because I don't want to spoil a moment of this suspenseful ride.

If you can grab a copy of the audiobook, do it. The narrator is very good. I always come back to this when I need a good book. It feels like home.

Maura found her identical twin dead outside of her 🏠. She didn‘t realised that she has a sibling until now. They thot that she might be the target instead of her twin. And Maura is determined to find out about her biological parents. But she didn‘t expect the result so sinister. 💭I somehow dislike her in this 📚. Especially with the men. But other than that, the story is suspenseful. #thriller #suspense #kindle #tessgerritsen
