Another friend recommended read. This one is a slow build and never really has a big reveal, but it deals with the consequences of choices and how simple interactions in life can change the whole course of one's life.
I ended up enjoying it more than I thought I would.
At the beginning of WWI, a luxury liner catches fire depositing a random group of people in an overcrowded lifeboat with a ship‘s officer. They story is narrated by one of the survivors, Grace. I felt at times like I was in that boat. Moral dilemmas ensue as does a trial.
