Mehso-so

It was a strange experience to read this one. The prose was lush and beautiful, but the plot was underwhelming and repetitive. Also, it was written in the first person, and I found it difficult to believe that the main character- who was sixteen - would think in such poetic terms. So it was hard for me to lose sight of the author‘s hand and just sink into the story. Overall this was just a “Meh” read for me.
