I wasn‘t expecting much from this Fear Street Super Thriller after the execrable experience that was HOUSE OF WHISPERS, but it was actually a lot of fun! Lots of entertainingly awful characters and scary happenings. Now I remember why 10-Year-Old Me liked these books so much.

I stuck it in a Little Free Library on Daisy‘s walk and took NANCY‘S MYSTERIOUS LETTER away with me,

I read 12 books in December. My favorites were Stalking Jack the Ripper, Wolves of Calla, Dracul and The Book Thief. My least favourite was Roadwork. Not a bad group to finish off the year 😺

I really liked this one 😂

It's probably been about 13 years since I first read this, so I completely forgot the ending! I ended up enjoying the story, although I found myself thinking that these kids aren't the brightest. I also found myself thinking deeper about the characters and their motivations, which wasn't on my radar as a kid & it somewhat altered my view of the characters.

PS I found out that there's a Silent Night 3, which I NEED to read.

What better way to get into the Christmas spirit than to take a stroll down memory lane with R.L. Stine and the Silent Night series? I remember reading the 3rd book when I was a kid and it sufficiently creeped me the heck out and stuck with me all these years. The first book in the series was good, not great, but still had a lot of great R.L. Stine moments. A needle in your lipstick, anyone? 💄😱😈 #fearstreet ⭐️⭐️⭐️
