pickAnother great time at Torte. There was a lot going on in the middle of the book so the ending was a bit lack lustre. I didn‘t realize it was the end of the book and then the next page was recipes. I was just like “that‘s it?”
Still a good story and look forward to the next one.

The 8th book in the Bakeshop Mystery series & things are coming together for Helen (the MC's mom) & the Professor's surprise wedding. Jules is busy with that, the renovations at Torte, hosting Carlos & his son & helping Lance with a murder that hits close to home. It's not out until June, so I'll review it with a recipe then-until then mini cupcakes-leftover 'props.' 😋
I am so happy it's Friday--what an exhausting couple of weeks. Finishing up some busy work today, then hoping to relax this weekend.
