I just started the TV show on Netflix shadow, and bone. It‘s based off of the actual book, shadow, and bone. It‘s from the same author, who wrote six of crows. And I‘m definitely just watching this because I heard that Kaz and inej we‘re in the show, I can‘t decide if they look like their characters or they don‘t but I think there‘s at least a pretty close resemblance 😊

I love the look of these two books. #thingsincommon

I absolutely loved this. The magic, world-building, and fantasy are right up my alley. The love story is a sort of different angle on the love triangle. I enjoyed how Bardugo had me rooting for one character while feeling indifferent about another and then she flipped it. I despised the one I was rooting for by the end. The character arcs are great, while still leaving room for more in the next books. I can‘t wait to see where it goes…

This book has made it super easy for me to procrastinate with schoolwork lol. I can‘t put it down and I‘m probably going to be done with it tomorrow. I‘m tempted to order the next two in the trilogy already so I can keep going. Maybe I shouldn‘t so I can actually get things done. Who am I kidding? I‘m totally going to order them lol.

I feel like some fantasy now, and this one‘s been sitting on my shelf for a while.

Absolutely loved it , pure escapism , easy read and wonderful distraction when sometimes you just want to step off the planet . The Netflix tv series is just as good as the book slightly different as they always are and not often i watch the tv series first but really enjoyed both in this case - il be reading the whole series after my bookclub reads

The next two on the list buddy reads , reading 📖 2 and once should bring my TBR mountain 🏔 down abit 😆

I really found this to be a good read. Great world building. There were times it lagged but thankfully that was rare and she got back to the action. Truly enjoyed the characters and was in it until the last page. I will look for book 2. #100readschallenge

All the kids at school are going mad for this series so I thought I'd read it. I really enjoyed it: the relationship between the two key characters is endearing and very quickly established. For a change, a fantasy series not set in something resembling the middle ages, and a villian you cannot help falling for. The Netflix series focuses on sub-plots with other characters. The book follows Alina and Mal's journey. A bildingsroman of sorts.

Just part of the way through the first episode, and I'm loving this Netflix adaptation! I haven't read the books yet, so it might be different for someone who has. #Adaptation #Fantasy
