Another night of #audiocrochet - I‘m attempting to make a little top for Nina. It might turn out a total disaster (partly because I‘m too lazy to rip out and fix a glaring mistake in that part I‘ve already done...) but fortunately, she‘s still young enough she has to wear what I put on her 😆
I‘m enjoying this book just as much the second time around. Excited to read the sequel!

I started reading book 2 of this series a few days ago and realized it had been waaaaaay too long since I read On the Edge and I couldn‘t remember any of it. So i borrowed the audiobook and I‘m doing a little #audiocrochet at 1.75x for a refresher.

It took some time to get into the characters, however it is worth the investment of time. I enjoy the storytelling of Ilona Andrews writing team.

Not a bad book, and if it were by anybody else I'd probably give it a pick. But Ilona Andrews books are usually better, in my experience. It's not as captivating as Kate Daniels or Hidden Legacy, but a solid story.

Rose is a powerful magic wielder in the Edge, between the magical and non-magical worlds. Declan appears as a powerful evil force threatens everything Rose holds dear. Can they learn to trust each other and overcome pure evil?

I'm having a hard time getting into anything today. I finished a book yesterday but nothing really appeals for my next read. This has been on my shelf for a while, so I'll give it a shot. Fingers crossed!

A promising start to this series. Looking forward to the rest! I really liked the hero here, lots of integrity. A little slower pace in places (which is not the usual for their books), but the baddies were REALLY scary. 😳 One thing about the monsters in their books, their descriptions are always so over the top and outrageously weird that I have a hard time even imagining them! 😂 #romantsy #osrbc
