A couple more good quotes from the book, Shame on You, which I just finished. That was a ride. Social media can be so toxic. I think I'll stick to Litsy, where all we care about is #reading. 😅

"We choose our avatars and wear them like masks. They allow us to be whoever we want to be. Yet too often, we fool ourselves into thinking that our mask is who we really are."

Really enjoyed this one! Secrets and lies always come out in the end. A real lesson about not believing everything you see on social media. A really good ending aswell.
This had the potential to be an excellent commentary on the issue of women in social media and online celebrity, however, the ending was a little too contrived for me. Rating: 3 ⭐️
Thanks to NetGalley and publishers, Bonnier Zaffre / Twenty7, for the opportunity to review an ARC.
Holly has the perfect life and career. She is the poster girl for a clean life and a cancer survivor to boot but then she is attacked and life starts to crumble. Is she really the victim and survivor that she claims to be. Nothing stays secret for long
I really enjoyed this and it does take you on a bit of a rollercoaster with how you feel about Holly and what she has done.
