The_Literary_Jedi Ew. Making herself out to be a victim of a reviewer to justify criminal behavior and then making money off it? And what about the person who was stalked? I feel sorry for that person, not the author. I won‘t be reading or borrowing or buying any of her books 6y

GripLitGrl There are enough creeps out there who do this that cause serious harm or wrose to others. Encouraging the behavior into a book deals is just wrong IMHO. 6y

Kaye All I can say is, if you‘re an author, you need thick skin. Not everyone will like your stuff. I used to write tons of reviews on GR. I had 3 authors reply to me. One with anger, one that wasn‘t happy, and one that thanked me. The lady was nasty. I think I wrote a fair review. The second guy was a big name lawyer who wrote a book defending Jeffrey McDonald ( killed his family), naming all the reasons his trial was unfair. Third, ðŸ‘‡ðŸ¼ 6y

Kaye I told the guy he didn‘t need to use the F word in every freaking sentence. He thanked me, agreed he used it too often, and would write his second book using less F words. Readers should be loyal to other readers, not to authors , even if they‘re less than good 6y

Kappadeemom @kaye - I agree. I try to write constructive reviews if I don‘t like a book, even though a lot of times it‘s not the writing as much as it might not be my taste. It‘s ridiculous for anyone to do this 6y
