Pickpick

A random library shelf pick proved an interesting read. The fictionalised account of a young man in late 19th century sardinia, he grows skilled in violence in italys war in lybia before his skills are further honed in the first world war. He returns to become an outlaw in his homeland reeking vengeance on the society who harm his family. This is a romantic hero who is a brutal killer. Interesting read about a society alien to me. Worth reading.
