From the Dust Returned | 
pickI read this between Mar 17 & May 20. And I rated it 4.5 ⭐️. Reading this book is like being in a fever dream. While there are similarities to other famous monster families like The Munsters and The Addams, there is less humour and more of Bradbury‘s talent for storytelling that pulls the reader in.
panNot a fan of this book. This house attracts a bunch of immortals, eventually it gets burned down. There is an ancient mummy and an abandoned human newborn. Didn‘t find it that interesting personally.
In the happy accident department, I think I got a signed copy from a used seller. I was just looking for a reading copy.

I love October and the beauty that it brings - the changing leaves, the cooler temperatures, the earlier eves, the changing light, the deceptive heat of the sun, the chill to your bones that the earth is changing. It is a time for rituals and finding the new within them. So I return to a classic: Bradbury.If I could, I would live every day for the rest of my life in October....
Library bookshop find. I fail at not buying more books. No one tell my husband. #sorrynotsorry
