A great follow up to a brilliant first book! #girlpower!!

It wasn‘t as captivating as the first one. I felt like the character growth was fairly abrupt and predictable. But I loved the setting and complexity.

After being so undecided about book one, I read this book in one day. I think how much I liked this one made me appreciate the first one a lot more, too. All the time she spent world building in book one definitely paid off in this action packed conclusion! Starting this one despite the fact I remember very, very little from the first.

Okay, I swear I read the first book in this series a year ago. It‘s on goodreads and everything. AND YET. I couldn‘t remember a single character or event that happened in the last book. I thought my memory would kick in at some point while I was reading this, but I was v wrong. That being said, I didn‘t enjoy this book a ton. Not because it wasn‘t good, but because I didn‘t know what was going on. I wanted to love it though. ✨

So so excited to start this book asap! ✨✨✨

This cover isn't as good as the cover for book one, but it is still better than most covers out there. The designer deserves an award. It's subtle but stands out. The head almost concealed in the clouds. Very well done.
