pickI remember watching Sliding Doors & thinking what a clever concept it was, to see what would have happened if things had gone differently. The splitting of the story into Reveal & Conceal works well here, until you get to the ending which is a little weak compared to the rest of the book. Overall though it was an engaging read & it just makes it into the Pick category. 3.5 🌟
so-soWhile I liked the Sliding Doors concept of this book, it took me over a week to read this. I was annoyed by the lead character in both versions and I didn‘t really take to any of the supporting characters. Shame really, as I really enjoyed How to disappear. I do have another of hers on the tbr pile so will get to it soon and see which way it tips the balance.

pickI‘ve had this on my kindle since 2017 , it seems it got lost in there ! Until @Ms_T posted a review recently & I thought I would get a copy ( only to discover I already had it 🙄) Very good thriller!! Will definitely read more Gillian McAllister. 👍🏻

Loved the sliding doors theme. Watching 2 scenarios take place based on one life changing decision. You really route for the character and can put yourself in her shoes as the same could happen to you. We've all been there. The feeling of somebody following you on a dark night. Her reaction was an understandable mistake.

Just finished this one today. Well, I‘m still unsure what I think about it. It flipped back and forward from reveal/conceal and at times I found it hard to follow what was going on. Not the best thing I‘ve read. Glad I got it finished though so hopefully the nnext thing i start will be better. 6/10 📚📚📚📚

I thought this wasn't out until January, but I've just discovered that the digital version is out today! I loved her debut Everything But The Truth, and decided that saving £7 was good enough reason for getting this now, rather than in the new year! Also it saves on bookshelf space. I do feel conflicted about giving my money to amazon instead of Waterstones. 😕
pickOne night out followed by an incident now your faced with a choice but you have to think quick. The reader then follows Jennifer in both senarios. Either way that one night changes her life for good and the lives of the people around her. Brilliant a truly compelling read.
