Chance of a Ghost
Chance of a Ghost | E.J. Copperman
2 posts | 6 read | 3 to read
Alison Kerbys guesthouse is haunted all year round. Surviving the dead of winter, though? Thats a spooky proposition. Even with a blizzard bearing down on New Jersey, Alison can count on at least two guestsPaul and Maxie, the stubborn ghosts who share her shore town inn. Then theres her widowed mother, who hasnt just been seeing ghosts, shes been secretly dating one: Alisons father. But when he stands her up three times in a row, somethings wrong. Is he a lost soulor a missing apparition? Their only lead is an overdramatic spiritstage name Lawrence Laurentzwho doesnt take direction well and wont talk until they find his killer. Alison will reluctantly play the part of PI, but when the clues take a sinister turn, the writing is on the wall: If Alison cant keep a level head, this will be her fathers final actand maybe her own.

Another fun book in the Haunted Guesthouse series- this time, Alison is trying to solve a couple of mysteries that she thinks are somehow connected. And she gets some extra help from an unlikely source.

For some reason this one didn‘t hold my interest quite as much as the first couple, but I‘m still enjoying the series. Three and a half stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
