As the War of the Realms rages on, the only way to defeat Malekith is with a united front - and it's up to Thor to bring the many races together! Now heroes from across the ten worlds - including Lady Sif and Angela - unite under Thor's command to form a new League of Realms, with the sole mission of bringing this conflict to an end! And their first mission is to infiltrate Dark- Elf-occupied territory! But when the war spreads to every branch of the World Tree, the League's road to peace is fraught with challenges they hadn't anticipated. To stand against the heroic allies, Malekith forms a wicked union of his own, calling on Loki and the all-new Kurse to take down Thor and her band of heroes! COLLECTING: MIGHTY THOR 13-19

3/5

I thought the plots in this volume were a bit weaker than the previous two, and referenced a lot of other comics that I haven't read. That said, this is just a really fun series and it continued to have those great Thor quotes.

I‘ve been really enjoying Jason Aaron‘s The Mighty Thor series. It‘s full of action, political tensions, and Thor‘s own very human struggle. It‘s been a great story so far.

Also volume 3 had more Hildegard in it than I was expecting which is always a treat.

First comics of 2018. I am so determined to burn through the two short boxes of unread comics this year. ITS HOLDING ME BACK! Jason Aaron/Russel Dauterman on Thor has been one of Marvel‘s best books for the last few years. “Female Thor” was a publishing gimmick that would have gone so bad under a less talented writer but Aaron and Dauterman have been incredible work. I‘ll be so sad to see them leave the book in March. #readingcomics #comicsrec

GrilledCheeseSamurai Good stuff! 👍 7y
Serotonin Leave the book? What does that mean? 7y
nosferatoos @Serotonin it means that the current creative team, Aaron and Dauterman will no longer be writing Thor. I‘m not 100% positive this is what‘s happening but the issue solicited for March is the Big Finale for all the Jane Foster Thor stuff and I am pretty sure I read that it was the end of Aaron‘s run as well. but now I can‘t find any sources to back that up. So I might be wrong? 7y
Serotonin @nosferatoos Ooh, I see. Aww, that‘s too bad. I was really liking their Thor stuff too 😆 7y

I really loved this volume as it tackled an interesting idea of what really makes a god a god. Also Russell Dauterman is one of my favorite comic artist. I think he really captures the quintessential comic book look and feel of fun!

I am totally geeking out here!

Mighty Thor vol 3 - No. I could NOT wait until 2018 for the paperback. Hardback it is 👍 😆😆😆

Unworthy Thor vol 1 - Okay, how can I NOT read this after having loved the previous volumes of Mighty Thor. Plus, my curiosity is killing me 😆

I was planning on watching Game of Thrones & Riverdale today but I might just vegetate and read my comics 😊
