I really enjoy Courtney‘s poems. They have such a real feel to them. Collection takes you on a journey out of the dark caves and winding forest, across the sea and up the mountains, all the way home. That healing is a journey like this. There‘s up and downs, it‘s not linear. I was really able to connect with this one. She talks more about her love in all the possible ways it can manifest, as well as fade away

When you look at your body and you believe it to be an anchor that weighs you down, the ship will not sail. But if you fill your body with breathes off fresh air and remind yourself anchors can be lifted, you‘ll become the ocean.

Sometimes choosing to be the bigger person takes more courage than giving into the bitter words we so often speak. Really enjoying this new collection #ReadABookDay
