#RRSciFiMonth Day 14 Explore new worlds. 39' of of Night at the Opera by Queen. The song relates the tale of a group of space explorers who embark on what is, from their perspective, a year-long voyage. Upon their return, however, they realise that a hundred years have passed, because of the time dilation effect in Einstein's special theory of relativity, and the loved ones they left behind are now all dead or aged. Written and sung by Brian May.

RJHowe Written and sung by a Doctor of astrophysics...completely appropriate 6y

We went to see Queen and Adam Lambert last night!
They put on a truly outstanding show but, truthfully, I'm stressed by crowds, loud noise and strobe lights. Husband and daughter had a wonderful time. I feel sad and ungrateful for not enjoying it more than I did. 😢

Jhullie I am the same. I prefer to avoid crowded, noisy events. 7y
PenguinInFlight As much as I would love to attend events like these, crowds give me MASSIVE anxiety and I usually don‘t end up having as much fun as I would like. Totally understand. ❤️ 7y

Hard to choose just #5bands. I tend to like albums, most bands/artists produce a few that I like but not all. Except for these:

1. Queen - lifelong fan. So much talent and versatility. My first ever CDs were Queen Greatest Hits I and II
2. Arctic Monkeys - love their beginnings and their evolution
3. Cage the Elepant - ditto
4. The Police - another life-long affair
5. Nine Inch Nails - Trent Reznor is full of rage and emotion

kendrastephaniekaryn Arctic Monkeys and Cage are both amazing. 💚💚💚 7y
Gezemice @kendrastephaniekaryn I love their versatility! They have a style but they experiment with so many different genres and sounds. Both so talented! 7y
TrishB Trent ❤👍 7y
