20 Fun Facts about Bats | Heather Moore Niver

Not book related but today while I was out with my friend we rescued a baby bat at the mall! He was flying around and crashed into a wall. I immediately got up and ran to him to protect him while my friend got me gloves and towel to grab him (I follow a ton bat rescues and know how to do this without endangering myself) once I had him, I got him outside and released him away from people and he flew off. I‘m so glad I could help him today.

julesG @readordierachel It depends on the ingredients. The soap in Fight Club wasn't. 😁 Most store bought soap is vegan, oxgall soap is not, some curd soap contains animal fat, too 6y

Scurvygirl I totally get the ant thing. Had a bit of an issue when I was young and we moved into our new house. It got invaded by ants and one fell on my head when I was falling asleep! Super traumatic. Then one was on the floor and I trapped it under a book and stood on it yelling " Isn't anybody gonna help me!" Kind of the running joke in my family now. I was 4.? 7y

JPeterson @Johanna414 South of Buffalo as well - small town outside of Jamestown. But once I moved down to VA, it became easier to say Buffalo so people had some idea what I was talking about. 😊 7y

Johanna414 @JPeterson yep, I always explain my location in relationship to Buffalo as well - no one has ever heard of Allegany County... Jamestown is about an hour away but it was the closest mall so we always shopped for prom dresses there 7y
