pickShel Silverstein at his weird, dark, humourous best! Another long lost find in my trunk. I especially love Ernie the genie who lives in the ceiling and likes to catch raw eggs - what a great way to teach children the alphabet 🤓This the perfect balance to the sentiment of The Giving Tree. Silverstein is a genius!!!
Alright this all I could think of for books and candy. I don't keep candy around due to a lack of self control. Also, I love the dark whimsy that is Shel Silverstein. #booksandcandy #riotgrams
My parents introduced me to Uncle Shelby's ABZ Book (Shel Silverstein) long before Where the Sidewalk Ends or his other works… Which is probably why I drink and start fires now. Awesome seeing this gem at my mother's house.
