From the author of the gritty near-future dystopian tale, (Booklist) Hit comes the thrilling sequel about an indentured assassin fighting to survive in a world of anarchy. The hit list was just the beginning. Time to strike back. After faking her own death to escape her term as an indentured assassin for Valor Savings Bank, Patsy is on the run with her boyfriend, Wyatt. All she wants to do is go home, but thats never going to happennot as long as Valors out to get her and the people she loves. Left with no good choices, Patsys only option is to meet with a mysterious group that calls itself the Citizens for Freedom. Led by the charismatic Leon Crane, the CFF seem like just what Patsy has been looking for. Leon promises that if she joins, shell finally get revenge on Valor for everything theyve done to herand for everything theyve made her do. But Patsy knows the CFF has a few secrets of their own. One thing is certain: theyll do absolutely anything to complete their mission, no matter whos standing in their way. Even if its Patsy herself. Delilah S. Dawson brings anarchy and high-octane drama to the next explosive level in this sequel to the practically movie-ready (Kirkus Reviews) novel, Hit.

Book friends! As you may know, Amazon warehouse workers in Minnesota are on strike to protest their abysmal work conditions. Don‘t cross the virtual picket line by shopping Prime Day! Here‘s a great place to buy books instead, or shop at your local independent book dealer. #shoplocal #solidarity

Megabooks Emily said it was worse working at Amazon than a call center or McDonald‘s! This is a great book!! 5y
Jilly6183 @Megabooks It's on my TBR, definitely looking forward to reading this one 5y
Jilly6183 @Megabooks I picked up a copy the other day. I'm only about 70 pages in so far but it is exceeding my expectations. Thanks for putting it at the forefront of my mind! 5y

Strike | Delilah S. Dawson

Being on strike was a very scary and stressful thing. Thankfully I paid all my bills the day before I went out on strike for the month. Because now I am without a check until next week when I should be getting my hardship check. And I will have to send my #MythsandLegendsSwap package late and I am never late with my swap packages. 😟😟😟😟😟😞😞😞😞

BookwormAHN I'm sure match will understand, hugs 💜 6y

I don't often read YA, but I love Delilah S. Dawson's brand of wacky and her protagonists' brand of badass. Good fun.
