Queen and the Cure
Queen and the Cure | Amy Harmon
There will be a battle, and you will need to protect your heart. Kjell of Jeru had always known who he was. He'd never envied his brother or wanted to be king. He was the bastard son of the late King Zoltev and a servant girl, and the ignominy of his birth had never bothered him. But there is more to a man than his parentage. More to a man than his blade, his size, or his skills, and all that Kjell once knew has shifted and changed. He is no longer simply Kjell of Jeru, a warrior defending the crown. Now he is a healer, one of the Gifted, and a man completely at odds with his power. Called upon to rid the country of the last vestiges of the Volgar, Kjell stumbles upon a woman who has troubling glimpses of the future and no memory of the past. Armed with his unwanted gift and haunted by regret, Kjell becomes a reluctant savior, beset by old enemies and new expectations. With the woman by his side, Kjell embarks upon a journey where the greatest test may be finding the man she believes him to be.

5/5 ⭐️

*sigh* what a lovely second book! What a gift. This has become one of my favorite series of all time. In both books the romance and love is perfection. The stories have just the right amount of torment and happiness. And the ending on this one is so warm and satisfying. I am hoping, praying, and pleading for a third addition to the series. HIGHLY recommend♡

This whole series as sweep me away. Kjell and Sorcha are magnetic. Their love felt as strong as the tides constantly pulling them back to each other. I really enjoyed seeing the main characters blossom into their full potential.

Harmon's writing is exquisite.

I guess I will be making it to 400 approved titles on @Netgalley this year after all, because there is no way I will manage to request less than 8 books in the next 7 months. 🤷‍♀️😂 Also, how on earth do I suddenly have 24 titles to review?! 😱😅🤣 #bookbloggerproblems

vlwelser It's a trap! Every time I go on there to post a review I request at least 2 new books. That math will never work in my favor. 5y
yvo_about_books @vlwelser I know right? 🙈 I ended up posting two pending reviews today, but somehow also added a new title to my shelf in the progress... 🤦‍♀️🤣 5y

Really enjoyed this second book in the series. A really wonderful world that Harmon has built. It can be read as a standalone but it‘s better if you read “The Bird and the Sword” first. #romantsy #epicfantasy

Beginning this weird snowy day with an audiobook and a not very good book that I‘m going to power through for my #LitsyAtoZ X book. Not sure if I‘m going to finish my #24B4Monday before GoT tonight but I‘m going to try!

I had a friend for high school message me on Facebook the other day begging me to read Amy Harmon so she would have someone to fangirl with. I‘m so glad she did! I‘m really enjoying getting to know this author.
