It has its issues and had it not been the last book in a beloved series I probably would‘ve bailed. But, it redeemed itself in the end! Suze is as bull in a china closet as ever! The last quarter was classic Suze insanity. I‘m glad to have finally read it! I‘m late to the #bookspin party, but this was my April pick.

A cute ending to the series. Definitely a sort of fluff read but good nonetheless. Suze and Jesse get their happy ending, yay for the warm fuzzies.

First, I loved this series in high school 😍. BUT, the first 50 pages of this left me really put off. Nothing was all that different from what came before... but I'm different, and the cultural moment we're in is different too. The entire premise of Paul coming back into Suze's life (in Ch. 1) was super gross in the context of #metoo. Jesse's machismo hasn't aged well either. Suze also continued to act much like a teenager. ⬇⬇

melissa.drake I pushed through, and in many ways it did fulfill my expectations of a Mediator novel. There was ultimately some positive character growth, but I can't recommend this for any other reason than nostalgia. 6y

Okay. I officially declare my book slump over! I read the bridge novella (The Proposal) and this one in one sitting. Suze and Jesse are back! I hope there's more to come because I love this series so much. (I really think Jack needs his own book, hint to Ms. Cabot!)

I picked this up because I recently read through the original series as it was recommended to me. This was good, but it didn't blow me away. I like the idea of revisiting YA characters as NA a few years down the road in their lives. It's a solid middle-ground pick for me. If you enjoyed the originals it's a nice continuation but I didn't feel there was a anything particularly new or fresh in the storyline. Maybe there'll be more in store later?

Her sadness, deep and dark as a grave, seeped into me.
Or maybe the only sorrow I felt was my own. Maybe it had been there all along neatly boxes away. Maybe that's what had been keeping me awake at night for so many years, but I'd never allowed myself to feel it, until the touch of that cold cheek to mine caused the box to open, and all the emotions I'd packed so tidily away in there came rushing to the surface.

Nobody can make me laugh as much as Meg Cabot! I'll read anything she writes.

I started reading this months ago, when it first came out, & I just couldn't get into it. Honestly, I was almost disappointed as the original Mediator series is one of my favorites. But I spent all day by the pool, right where I left off, & the story seriously picked up. I can't say it's my favorite of the series, but the story is pretty fantastic. If you read this, make sure to get past the first 100 or so pages before passing judgment😊👍🏻

I was so excited to read this, since the original series was one of my favourite series' when it first came out. Honestly though, I was super disappointed with Remembrance. It's good fluff, but while she tries to delve deeper into some more serious plot lines the overall execution fell flat.

I couldn't wait to get a copy of this. I was let down though with the character development and plot. I felt disconnected from the characters in this one. Maybe it had to do with the fact that there is an 11 YEAR(!!) age gap between the debut of the 6th and 7th books. Although, it did have a HEA.

Book mail is the best kind of mail. Especially on a Monday. Excited to read this adult continuation of one of my favorite series by Cabot!

It took me way longer than necessary to finish this. I was a huge fan of this series as a teen and I liked this installment for the nostalgia, but it definitely wasn't great. Lots of build up, not much follow through.
