pickI have just finished it... Even if at the beginning I wasn't very impressed, I started to like it after the first 100 pages. It is the story of Augustin, innocent or terrorist... It is a story about faith...religion...God...it makes you think and meditate... This was the second book that I've read written by this author, and I have to say that I really liked it and I found it interesting and inspiring. âââââ
so-soBefore flying to Ireland (last Wednesday), I finished this book, apparently not translated into English. The story is interesting, but somewhat predictable. It's not one of my favorite by this author...
so-soI do love the book and the author. But in this case, the philosophical style weighs too heavily on the narration, especially in the end. I've always admired Schmitt for the way he turns the most difficult subjects into stories that make your heart ache and smile at the same time. I miss that here. It reminds me too much of #paulocoelho , a bit too new age for me. (While in this case I can relate to many ideas on religion stated here).
so-soUn récit qui fait pensé, plutôt métaphysique. La fin est bouleversante et n'est pas attendue! Le milieu déroule à un lenteur interminable.
