Quiet Gentleman

I‘m currently on my FOURTH Georgette Heyer since I expected to have a baby and I DO NOT want to talk about still being pregnant. 😅 The tagged book was my favorite Heyer so far. Lots of gothic vibes and a satisfying ending, on all counts. I really enjoyed the characters in this one, especially the dowager, who reminded me of a hybrid of both of my judgey grandmothers!

Maybe my next post will be about a baby? 🥴

Meanwhile, I‘ve cleaned everything within my reach and I‘m pretty sure every neighbor within a mile radius has started calling me the Crazy Pregnant Lady because I‘ve been out there waddling through contractions in the summer heat for almost a month now. 😂 4y
