In 2017 I read more books in a single year than I ever have in my adult life (and maybe ever)! Many of the books were amazing. I could only narrow my favorite books list down to 21! 21/110 is pretty good I must say! Here is 1-9.

Happy to have an ARC of this one because then I can read it during #womenintranslation month! Coming out September 12, from New Vessel Press.
#bestofJuly
I read 18 books!
2 of them were graphic novels
4 of them were audio books
9 of them were YA/children's lit
These 6 were my faves of July!

This was an amazing reading experience. I loved the exploration of an "ordinary" life via the items they left behind. Plus I'm a huge fan of the usage of Twitter for storytelling!
I worry over the fact that there is nothing, no plaque in a cemetary. "She wasn't at all religioue, you lnow, like a lot of teachers." I just finished a book which I think must be about my friend @LauraKath in a past life.... ?
This book is a collection of the author's tweets as she discovers and documents items left by a previous tenant in the cellar of her Parisian apartment. Translated from French. Over half way through and loving it! 😍
Reading this very cool find from the exhibit hall while I wait in line for the shuttle! #alaac17
