This trip has been so jammed packed I have not had time to read but today was day off from surgery (back at it tomorrow) so we played tourist and spent the day at the national park and saw some amazing plant and animal life. My favourite were the Leaf Cutter Ants, I could have watched them for hours. However the sloths were pretty cool to see. This baby one was so freaking cute!
We ended our summer reading program with a visit from an animal conservation group. They brought some fun/unique animals to show us and talked to us about them. The highlight for me is always when they bring out the sloth. Sloths have been my favorite animal since I was 10 so I was over the moon when I got to get my picture with the adorable Chloe.
