Reeling from recent events, even Hawkeye wants to know what his new status quo is. Who's with him? Who's against him? Who's trying to kill him and why? So many dang questions! And just when Clint's rock bottom couldn't arrive fast enough...his brother shows up. After a lifetime of decisions both good and bad, Clint and Barney Barton have to realize that they are brothers and ultimately, they're the only ones who can save one another. I mean, if they don't kill each other first. Now, the brothers Barton double down against the bad guys as the Clown lays siege to their building. Can Hawkguy keep everyone safe against a killer nobody's even seen yet? COLLECTING: HAWKEYE 17, 12-13, 15, 19, 21-22

Impressed by how tightly all those loose ends got tied up. Not sure anything will beat the Fraction + Aja team up [absolutely LOVE the layout and illustration style], but this definitely makes me want to look into other Hawkeye comics, for Clint Barton and Kate Bishop.

Just when I thought that Matt and Co. could not endear me more to Hawkeye, they do!

This volume is full of action as the Bros are back and they want Clint's building and the tenants out so what's a guy to do but save them?
I loved this volume and the team, which have totally superseded the last volume in both writing and artwork plus not to mention the additional twist and turns that hurt my heart.

5 ⭐ for this lug!

And with that, I‘ve finished my binge read of Matt Fraction‘s truly excellent Hawkeye run I had heard so much about. It lives up to the hype y‘all, if you‘re a superhero comics fan and you haven‘t read this yet do it up! 🏹💜

Many thanks to @thequeerspiderwoman for posting about Marvel's latest Kindle sale! I swooped in and got the last two volumes of HAWKEYE, the X-FACTOR EPIC COLLECTION, X-MEN BLUE, and X-MEN GOLD, all for super cheap (especially after I spent the bit of gift card I had on there). I'm happy. #comics

Good god these Hawkeye comics are the best. I love Clint Barton because he is as real as you can fucking get in his comics; he is so unwaveringly HUMAN. And an actual human disaster. I love it. And he went fully deaf in this one (all here for disabled superheroes 🙌🏽) and ASL was liberally illustrated. Fraction's Hawkeye volumes can't be beat, I highly recommend reading them. ✨

Carol The issues when he's deaf are the best! 💜💜💜 8y
Carol That sounds weird! I meant I really enjoyed how those issues portrayed his deafness so accurately. He can't hear the dialogue so we can't read it either! 8y
