IndoorDame @TheSpineView Thanks! She‘s an unknown poet to me, but this one really spoke to me when I went looking for today‘s prompt, and now I‘m really excited to read one of her books! 4y
TheSpineView @IndoorDame New to me also. Another to add to the TBR pile! 4y

#ReadingWomenMonth A collection of my favorite #Australian authors, Foz Meadows, Summer Wigmore, Jeanette Hospital Turner, and Lola Ridge. Lola is a bit of a stretch since she was born in Dublin and moved to New Zealand at 13, though she went to school in Sydney. After her marriage failed, she came to the US, where she was introduced as "an Australian poet of some fame." She's another 20th c. badass women who ??

tea.n.books fought with the unions (literally brawls in the streets) and wrote imagism-esque poetry about it. She was also a strong supporter of other women poets and writers. 7y
