Why did they have to go and make such a good series? Now I want to stay up all night reading knowing good and well I have work in the morning.

Another great read! As usual graphics are great and storyline was moving along nicely. The gods deal with the aftermath of Ananke's death and now that they are free of her, begin acting in different ways. Also there is a new bad thing... the darkness. All I can say is poor Baphomet. Looking forward to reading the next one.

I love the characters and the art but I feel like the plot was kind of all over the place with this one. After the ending of the previous volume I was so excited for this! But now I find myself more confused than anything and unable to figure out what the plot is at this point. I‘m going to continue on but this left me with a “huh” feeling. #wintergames #SlayBells #TBRread @Clwojick @StayCurious @MidnightBookGirl

MidnightBookGirl The cover is still cool! 16 pts! 5y

I love this series, though this was not my favorite volume. Still a solid pick for me! I really feel like this is one of the most creative and unique series going.

This volume was fantastic. What I love most about the series is that you never know what to expect. No matter how the previous volume ends , another twist will emerge. Now we know that Ananke was truly looking out for the others best interest. She did so in a shady way. Unfortunately, Persephone is a bad guy. She‘s on par with the darkness. I truly hope that Luci returns. I love her. #wicdiv #thewickedandthedivine

Always excited to get to hang out with these characters. I especially appreciated the interviews at the beginning, complete with skeptical interviewers. I'm really loving the ways in which this comic explores fame and its effects in our modern society.

Great pulls from this week's comic store trip *and* free Wonder Woman day comics? Heck, yeah!

This is The Wicked and The Divine (act one: the Faust Act) . An excellent graphic novel which is just the right balance of incredibly clever and fun. It reminds me of Gaiman's timeless Sandman series, in that it deals with angels, gods and demons in a very human way.

Tundextra There's something special about this series... but I'm not sure if readers, myself included, will 'get it' until more is revealed later. Reminds me of Y The Last Man, which is only genius when read in its entirety. 7y
Jamesfahyauthor @Tundextra it has echoes of Gaimans Sandman series to me , the same kind of multi-layered mythic storytelling where the incredible is made to seem mundane and the mundane made to seem otherworldly (edited) 7y

So beautiful. And the story is getting more and more interesting in every book. Each one leaves me wishing for the next one to come out faster.
